Between Resources.

Watch Commander is building one environment for the legal information, training, intelligence, and AI tools officers rely on. What verification involves

For sworn officers and authorized administrative personnel—not a public social feed. The privacy policy describes the information that may be requested:

  1. 1. Provide your work email

Use a department or government work email in the app’s verification process.

  2. 2. Supply credentials if requested

A department-issued identification image or related information may be required for review. Do not send credentials through this website’s inquiry form.

  3. 3. Wait for verification

Protected officer community features require approval. Ask for current review timing and reviewer details before an agency rollout.

Verification is an access restriction, not a CJIS certification. Do not upload NCIC data, criminal justice information, or restricted records.

Before you download

Questions from officers and agencies.

Is Watch Commander free or paid?

Watch Commander is free to download, with in-app purchases. The US App Store lists Watch Commander Pro at $4.99 and Pro (Yearly) at $44.99. Check the purchase screen for the billing period, included features, and any trial before subscribing.

How does officer verification work?

The officer app is intended for verified sworn law-enforcement officers and authorized administrative personnel, not the general public. The privacy policy describes a department or government work email and, when required, a department-issued identification image submitted for review. Protected community access requires verification. Contact us for the reviewer and current turnaround time; no approval deadline is promised here.

Is Watch Commander CJIS-compliant?

Watch Commander does not represent the app as a CJIS-authorized system. Do not enter NCIC data, criminal justice information, or other restricted records. Agency approval and the published data-handling restrictions still apply to Intel, chat, AI tools, drafts, and attachments.

How accurate is the AI?

AI Commander uses state-specific legal context, but AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Verify every answer against current official sources, agency policy, supervision, and applicable legal guidance. It is a reference aid, not legal advice.

Which states are supported?

Ohio is the current integrated jurisdiction. No additional state launch dates are confirmed on this site. Do not assume that Ohio legal content applies in another state.

Is Android available?

The app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Android is coming soon; no release date is confirmed.

Can I use this for POST certification?

Do not assume that completing a scenario earns POST certification or continuing-education credit. Training is for practice and reference. Ask your agency or state training authority whether an activity meets its requirements.

Does it integrate with our LMS?

No LMS integration is confirmed on this site. Before planning a rollout, request details for your learning management system, reporting requirements, and deployment needs through Agency Information.
